Elkind
Extended Piaget's theory of Egocentrism. He focused on the fact that when a child makes a choice on their own then they are closer to their peers. There are three types of this adolescent egocentrism:
- The imaginary audience: "Everyone is looking at me!"
- The mythological fable: "That won't ever happen to me!"
- The personal fable: "No one knows what it is like to be me!"
